Ghost Immobiliser 2

Protects your vehicle from key cloning and stops thieves from driving it with the original keys. Our most recent immobiliser connects to the CAN data network in your vehicle and a unique pin must be entered in order to start the engine.

Ghost unlike trackers, doesn't emit radio frequency signals and can't be identified by diagnostic tools. Ghost does not have LED indicators or buttons to signal its presence in your van or car.

A ghost immobiliser is a new technology that is extremely hard for thieves to beat. Contrary to physical deterrents, such as wheel locks and steering locks that can be cut off or taken, the ghost immobiliser is a discreet electronic device that isn't recognized by ordinary thieves since it doesn't emit radio signals and operates in a silent manner.

OBD port hacking

OBD port hacking has become the latest technique used by professional car thieves. Thieves can gain access to your vehicle's OBD using a laptop, a mobile application, and cables that can be purchased online for less than PS50. Once they have access, they will be able to do anything they like to do, from resetting your vehicle's fault codes, tuning your car, or taking it away in under a minute.

It will protect your car from being stolen by requiring a specific PIN code to be entered with your key fob prior to you can start the engine or drive away. It communicates with the vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit) by using the CAN Data Circuit. It is not detected by any RF scanning technology or code grabbing. To utilize an OBD hacking device you require a laptop that has software capable of reading the OBD protocol, which is available for less than PS100 on ebay or Amazon. You will also need cables with OBD pins that are connected to the CAN bus, these are available on eBay and Amazon for about PS50. The cable needs to be spliced into the wiring harness of your car, like the radio wiring harness.

Once the hacker has gained a connection to your vehicles OBD port, they are able to send diagnostics requests to the system at a high baud rate which will crash the CAN and block systems in your car from working. This could cause your vehicle's engine to stall or even stop working.
